100% Barbera, a traditional Northern Italian variety. Rich, red colour with the nose exuding dark fruit and toasty oak aromas. Velvety entry on the palate, rounded off with varietal fruit flavours and oaky sweetness. The elegant tannin structure is a hallmark of the cooler Durbanville winegrowing region. Matured for 15 months in barrel of which 30% was new American oak.
