Just the second vintage of Cabernet Franc produced at Stony Brook, this wine is a great example of superb quality being extracted from a tough year.
Explosive bright red fruit is immediately evident on the nose. Plenty of deeply-layered aromatics followed by a juicy, full mid-palate. Bright natural acidity and robust tannins give this wine the ability to age for many years, although it can be celebrated in its youth as well. Drink now for freshness and vibrance or cellar it for up to 15 years if you prefer a more secondary, savoury red wine.
