This Pinot Noir comes from the Vrede farm in the Overberg, just 20km from the Atlantic Ocean. 30% whole bunch fruit is used and the rest destemmed.
The whole bunch element brings aromas of Campari spice with notes of aniseed and clove to compliment the plum and black cherry fruit, with a perfume of dark rose petal. Fleshy, deep and spicy with fine graphite tannin depth. The wine shows lovely breadth and floral character so typical of Pinot.
